Level-One Certification Seminar in
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (Rational Living Therapy).
Three-day training,
Each training day usually runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Attendees learn the
start-to-finish systematic approach, as well as how to deal with difficult and
challenging clients who resist therapy, and a comprehensive introduction to
applying it to various problems (depression, anxiety, etc...).
The training fee includes
a comprehensive manual, the certification, and 18 continuing education contact
hours from the NACBT, the
National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), and the
National Association of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).
The fee for the three-day training is $750
If you register after 7/1/2000 the fee is $850
Note: To
be certified, a person must possess at least a Masters degree (or be a graduate
student) in a mental health profession. For those who do not meet that
criterion, a paraprofessional certification can be granted.
Training will be at
Aristotle’s Center 31-09 37th Street Astoria NY 11103 in the first
week of October 2010.
