How long does treatment last?
The length of treatment varies depending upon each individual.
What kind of treatment is right for me?
Every individual's treatment is different. The type, length and frequency of
treatment is determined by the therapist and patient together.
Does insurance cover my treatment?
Many insurance companies reimburse for treatment; although each individual plan
is different. So you must check with your individual carrier If your individual
plan reimburses for mental health services.
What are the fees?
Based on insurance coverage.
Can I come more than once a week?
We offer sessions as frequently as needed; however, some insurance companies
only reimburse for once-a-week sessions.
What are the qualifications of the therapists?
The staff consists of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, certified
psychiatric social workers and mental health counselors.
Can the therapists prescribe medication?
Our psychiatric nurse practitioner will prescribe medication only if it is
deemed necessary and agreed to by you.
What is biofeedback?
Biofeedback (or physiologic feedback) uses a computerized electronic measurement
device to monitor muscle activity or blood flow, and "feedback" information
about your physiology. Neurofeedback improves concentration and general
well-being to aid in treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD),
anxiety disorders, and depression.
